Organization
Glencoe High School, established in 1980, is located at the northwest corner of Hillsboro and serves the northern half of the district. Students used to complete grade 9 at either Evergreen or Poynter Junior High School and attend their final three years at Glencoe. In 1997, with the opening of Century High School, Glencoe became host to the first freshman class in the schools history. Now, Glencoe is a more traditional 4-year high school. The school is accredited through the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
